Sensory Room

A sensory room is a specially designed room which combines a range of stimuli to help children develop and engage their senses.

The sensory room is a separate room attached to Rangers room. A dark room with twinkling lights in the ceiling, a light box and lots of sensory things to explore makes it a quiet haven for children of all ages to relax and explore.  

Each age group have the chance to access the sensory room. Spending time stimulating their senses helps to develop children's prime areas and specific areas of the EYFS and encourages a sense of discovery.  The room also creates a great ambience for group activities.
