What does my child need to bring to nursery?
If your child is in nappies, please bring a supply of nappies, wipes and any cream you wish us to use, these can be kept in a box for your child at nursery. We are happy to change children with reusable nappies also.
All children should bring a bag with a change of clothes and layers to keep them warm in the winter. Woolly hats, welly socks, neck warmers/snoods and waterproof gloves are all recommended and suitable waterproof clothing and wellingtons are a must at Great Wood Farm! Sunhats are provided by Great Wood Farm.
If you child sleeps at nursery, we ask parents to provided a cot sized sheet, appropriate thickness blanket or sleeping bag, a comforter could also be brought in if your child needs it. You will be given a named drawstring bag to keep them in during your taster sessions. These bags will be sent home for washing, so they have the same smell as home, to help soothe and comfort children as they go off to sleep.
All personal items should be name labelled.
